FOUNDATION

PROVIDING
SERVICE DOGS FOR DISABLED VETERANS

A 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization

Our Mission

The mission of the Molly Frank Foundation is to provide service dogs to veterans and active military service members that suffer with PTSD, a traumatic brain injury, or mobility issues. These dogs are provided to the recipient at no cost to them.

Far too many men and women who come back from combat/deployment suffer with one or more of these issues. They are broken down and at a loss of how to transition back into society and function normally. They develop extreme anxiety to the point of where going out into public and socializing with others becomes an unbearable task.

Our organization is a 501c3 non-profit. All funding is gained through fundraising, donations, and sponsors. Most of the dogs that we train are rescues, therefore ultimately we are saving two lives at one time!  There are way too many veterans and service members in need, and will never be enough support to help all people.  They have served our Country and were willing to give the ultimate sacrifice.  Some came back from combat and will never be the person they were before.

About Our Namesake

Molly Frank

Molly Frank was a special lady whose love and vivacious character extended beyond humankind to the wonderful world of dogs.  Even as a young girl, she relished working with and training dogs.  Her dedication and determination to be the best trainer took her to several places in the United States and then to Europe.

When her child needed a service dog, Molly trained the perfect dog to meet that need.  As her work continued, she became a beloved citizen of Southwest Louisiana.  She joined the charity, Patriot Dogs, as a trainer.  Through this organization, several of "Molly’s Dogs” were placed with disabled veterans who were in dire need of this invaluable asset.  Later, Molly began A Bridge to Life in order to continue helping these same veterans.

Tragedy struck when Molly lost her life unexpectedly in 2015.  Her friends have picked up the torch, and established The Molly Frank Foundation in her memory and in her honor.  The legacy continues as service dogs are properly trained and provided free of charge to disabled veterans.  We strive to keep Molly’s vivacious love of dogs and our cherished veterans alive through dedication and the generosity of our benefactors.
